Easter Memories

Easter started out the Tuesday before for our household! Our little pink bunny got to color and hunt for eggs at Story Hour on Tuesday! She wore her "official" "pink" Easter dress and wore it with much pride!

She even got to show off "the dress" to Uncle Jack Jack at his work!

Eggs were colored nice and early on Friday! We only had one very minor accident...Brother knocked over the orange dye on to Sister's pajamas, but we considered that quite minor compared to the years before!

Immediately following the egg coloring, each scarfed down 2 eggs each (w/lots o' salt)...yum, yum!

We had a wonderful Good Friday Lenten dinner with all the cousins. Brother decided that he loved this "holiday" as he called it because he found out Grandma wasn't cooking any meat...he's not crazy about meat! It was sweet. Plus, all the grand kids discovered that the bunny arrived a little early this year and went to Grandma's house and left each of them a huge, labeled bag of chocolate treats!

Saturday finally arrived! Off to the hotel for swimming, jumping on the beds, pizza, and the Ten Commandments...and we'll have a very short drive to our very FIRST Sunrise Service in the morning! Hooray!

"Look mom, I can touch the ceiling!"

"I can't mom, but I am trying!"

Baskets are ready!

Kiddos are bathed and tucked in bed (and it's only 6:00 p.m.!)

Are they really asleep??

Brother wakes up so happy to find yummy treats left by the bunny, along with a really special note on the significance of Easter!

Our pink bunny wakes up her usual self...a wee bit grumpy!

"Mom are we at a football game, cuz there's so much cheering?" "Honey, everyone's cheering and worshipping because today is such a special day!" ...and soon we'll bury ourselves among the 18,000 people here on a beautiful and fresh rainy day!

Worshipping!

Smiling!

And more Smiling!

And sweet kisses during service!

Our Easter Blessings after service and breakfast!

Happy 95th Birthday Little Grandma!

Eggs, Family, Cousins and Fun!
