The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe!

So, my family said I say this every year, but this year was so true..."This was my best birthday ever!"

Daddy surprised me and took the day off from work. We had the luxury of skipping school, piled in the truck, loaded with every junk food snack we had on hand, and headed to play in the mountains! It can be tricky for two 44-yr. old parents to snow sled, but we did it and didn't hurt ourselves! The kids thought the snow was amazing and couldn't get enough play time! However, after they discovered their toes were numb, they had had enough!









My baby girl was in "awe" the entire time. The views were astonishing. At one points, she commented and said, "It's just like Narnia," except we couldn't find a light post anywhere! But, we captured other views and both kids commented that we could "see the whole world!"




The afternoon was topped with a huge pizza covered with each of our favorite toppings, each having their own 1/4 decorated in their individual toppings! We drank Coca-Cola and had a huge salad at Dion's...yum. Daddy and the kids had baked me a cake the day before, so after frosting it we dove into it with a side of neopolitan ice-cream. We took pictures and laughed and ended the night with a family challenge of Wii bowling (daddy won, again...darn)!


Thanks to all my family members who showered me with birthday phone calls and wished me special wishes and even sang (in Spanish too...Tim???)! Thank you, my dear friends who took the time to call, and sent cards/emails/texts! Those of you who really know me, know I love my birthday and I LOVE cards and calls!
