45 -n- Pampered!

Thanks to Daddy and my amazing kiddos for sure making mama felt loved, spoiled and papmered on my birthday! It was a huge gift to have Daddy stay home from work ALL day and to awake with a showering of gifts...the kids conned mama into eating not ONE but TWO dark chocolates EACH before we started the morning!

My baby girl reminded the boys that mama needed FLOWERS and DARK chocolates, and I got both! My lil' boy picked out the perfect necklace and matching earrings just for me! I love them and wore them that evening to dinner.

Plus, not only did they bake me a cake, they took me to Japanese Kitchen. My baby girl's 1st experience. The words out of her mouth were, "Awesome," and "that was sure nice of them to cook for us!" The experience was simply awesome and the food was wonderful. Daddy took us to Borders after and we ended the evening there!

At the end of the night, I told my kids that I was sad that my birthday was ending (if you know me, I've always gotten sad on the night of my b-day), so my baby girl told me I should just pray and ask Jesus to make it last a little longer, she was pretty sure He would make it happen!

Well, it kinda did....I was suprised the next day at my nephew's District wrestling when the gym full of strangers sang to me (thanks to Marty!). I then got to have almost all of my nephews and nieces have a huge sleepover at our house that next day and we had cake/ice-cream and more singing!

Birthday sleepover...challenge was who could eat the biggest cake slice!

My sister ended the celebration 3 days later with a gift to the St. James Tearoom with an intimate 2 hour tea date! Wait, tea was amazing, but my name isn't "Grace!" (check out my tea cup!)

And, I loved ALL the phone calls, voicemail messages, visits, and beautiful cards I received (btw Tia won prize for 1st call of the morning)!

...guess it's officially over...until next year, that is!
