It also becomes the perfect excuse to dress up for a party!
...to dance the night away and be the star dancers of the evening, all eyes on them!
It's also the perfect time to giggle yourselves to sleep!
...before going in to tickle and tease big brother (and snag some stuffed animals)!
It's also the perfect excuse to wake up and cuddle on the couch!
What? It's also the perfect time to play with leftover helium (static) balloons from the night before AND eat nachos and lunch together? Yes, of course!
Yes, sleepovers can be so much fun, especially when with good friends.
Lots of giggles, lot of laughing no doubt!
But boy do you stay tired (like mama) after they're all done...the late night staying up and talking and early morning waking up to talk and talk and talk and staying in jammies until 1:30pm...that can can wear you out as you get older...so much for the good ol' days with dear friend sleepovers!
There was no doubt we all enjoyed our time together. So many memories to talk about and reminisce, so many years under our belts. Like always it takes us back to our first sleepover when we were 5 years old, our elementary years, our high school years, our cheerleading stories, our boyfriends, our proms, our weddings, bridesmaids dresses, vacation in TX, 1st apartments, our babies and on and on...
...late 40's and 41plus years later after hugging our first day in Kindergarten, it's still fun to be with one another. It's fun to take a picture. It's fun to see our daughters pose for a picture with one another. It's fun to see both our moms so moved when they see us with our daughters...some moments in life are priceless.
