Our princess thought this was our "first bacation" (vacation)...and she was so excited to be on our first bacation...NOT, for some odd reason all the years of vacations she's experienced haven't counted, yet our 8-day journey this go 'round did?? ...we're not sure why?
Colorado Springs was a great place to visit Focus on the Family and play in their Narnia play area, experience the slides, have ice-cream in the soda shop, and let's not forget the yummy, fresh ground (free) coffee in the adult area/gallery/bookstore!
Manatou Springs was ideal for celebrating the 4th of July with our familia from Denver (Uncle Timmy, girls and Tia)!
The Cave of the Winds in Manatou was a blast - the kids' first time in a real cave!
Garden of the Gods is always the perfect place to capture the perfect picture!
Our "Bacation" proved to be a great experience geocaching along I-25 through NM and CO - we found some great geocaches! Even tho' it made our trip a couple of hours longer!

...ready or not, we're on to our final destination of our "first bacation!"
