It was wishful thinking that it would only take us 26 straight days to complete! Some verses just took longer than others and our schedules would sometimes interfere! But, when done I will post for my family/friends, who might feel challenged to meet a goal such as this.
So, why do I mention this at all? We regularly discuss the verse over dinner. For some reason "V" just made an impact on our dinner conversation.
"Verily, Verily, I say to you, he who believes in me has everlasting life." John 6:47
So, much discussion surrounded "everlasting life." Daddy did an awesome job of explaining even further to the kids to help them understand the meaning. I felt inclined to share a few conversations that transpired, that were heart-melting for da mamma and daddy!
My daughter continues to make reference to God's strenth and power and how Daddy just can't meet those standards, though as strong as he is, it's God who's most powerful. She thinks it would be great to see God hold the moon! My son thinks it would be great to have him pick up the world (since He can) and play basketball with the Earth!!!
Then, my baby girl asks if we'll be able to see Jesus in color in heaven. Her eyes watered and she got very emotional. She told us that sometimes when she's so happy she'll just start crying...a neat emotion for her to get a grip on!
I love my babies and I love witnessing their growth and observing how their minds work.
