Photos BEFORE we left for tea:
Arrival and shopping before the tea bell rings!
The bell rings and we are the 2nd set to be seated...it was so exciting to see the excitement in my baby's eyes as she is the first to see our room! We get seated in the Nook! We had hoped for that! And, we got the Stratfield Saye. The Stratfield Saye was the home estate of Arthur Wellesley, first Duke of Wellington, British soldier & statesman and an important military and political figure of the nineteenth century.
There was no way to wipe the smile off
my baby girl's face or off of Gram Mijo's!
It was their FIRST time at
the St. James Tearoom!
Savories, Breads & Sweets arrive and
you still can't REMOVE her smile!
Gentility and Excellence: The titles on her tea set.
Gentility: The quality of being well-mannered; refinement
Excellence: 1.The quality of being outstanding or extremely good.
Very appropriate tea set for my very well mannered little lady,
I might add!
I might add!
After she toured the entire tearoom, it was pretty clear
and took time to sample the couches, chair
and take pictures!
My stunning little beauty!
I'm not quite sure who enjoyed the warm
lavender scented hand towels the most???
(it was hard to tell...just look at the picture)
Thank you Auntie for the early Christmas gift. What a memorable blessing for each of us! To see the excitement in mom's and our sweet baby girl's faces were priceless! The smiles, priceless. The love, priceless. A sweet time for the girls that will always stay in our hearts forever. We love you!
