Today, my baby girl got to pick any activity for us to do...so, she opted to go visit her "friend on the farm!" Yeah! I wore flip flops, but my kids were much better prepared, as they had done this before. They spent a full hour tending to the MANY animals...feeding and watering. See, I just don't have that in me...I have my chihuahua and that's plenty, but OH how my kids were in heaven! Thank God for friends! So, along with getting plenty of poop on their shoes and smelling like every kind of farm animal there, they had an absolute BLAST (why is that?):
1. feeding the rabbits (and touching EVERYONE of them)
2. feeding the chickens and finding 4 eggs (we got to bring 2 home!)
3. hugging the goats
4. feeding the 3 sets of dogs (of every breed you can think of!)
5. admiring the donkey (or "horse key" as my boy called him)
6. oohing and ahhhing, sittin' on, touching and brushing the mama horse.
7. petting 10 day old "A D!"
8. having the dogs lick their faces!!!
I'm sure you'll agree, after looking at the pictures that my kids din't have that great of time, right? NOT! Thanks LT...we loved it! You're the best!
Oh, and kids asked why "Thumper and Bambi" were sharing a cage...hmmm?? (my kids named them last time)...
...here's the scoop...they were told they get one of the next litter (?) of bunnies!
