Wild Sunsets & Blue Eggs

The massive fire in Arizona is causing a severe overcast of smoke and ash to neighboring states! I saw today on GMA that even Devner is experiencing the effects of the smoke. Once dusk sets in and the smokes settles in the valley, we've been experiencing RED sunsets. The last 2 night pictures just don't do the setting any justice, nor can I capture the red, but it's so intense that it hurts your eyes to even look at it.

Over the last few weeks, we've been watching a mama bird "busily" build a pretty good size nest in our peach tree on our back porch. Dad trimmed away branches so we are able to watch from our family room, as mama sits and tends to her filled next....today, Daddy was able to sneak the camera over the next and capture a picture of our new "soon to be" neighbors...3 of them! The kids are certain we're gonna have baby blue birds.

1st pic is taken from our family room - you can kinda see the next (blur) on the bottom far right branch...then I zoomed in on 2nd pic (still a bit blurred), but check out the one Daddy took tonight!
