"Five Days, Four Nights...

Four days, three nights. Three days, two nights. Two Days, one night. Last day."

This is what we heard EVERY day from our princess. She absolutely LOVES camping outtings and not only hates for them to end, but wishes they would last longer and longer and longer - she never gets enough. The countdown had started weeks before, actually! She did resign to the fact that it's "really okay, huh, mama? We'll get to come back again, right?" Yes, my love, we get to come back!

Our favorite campground is redesigning their campground and our favorites was the addition of "Park River" or "Wonderland" as our family liked to call it...a park designed for kids with carved mushrooms and rock castles, bird houses, and a bridge, all where little ones can vy for ownership of territories and do some extensive pretend play! There's great shady spots for the parents to totally veg out while keeping an eye on the kids...my favorite spot this year! The perfect retreat.

So, our original plan for the trip was to see the Missoula production of Pinocchio...great time and amazing theatre. The Spencer Theatre was the vision and philantropic gift of Jackie Spencer. It has become known as The Carnegie of the SW. It was our 2nd time there and we were still not able to capture enough photos of the facility. Swimming and geocaching and relaxing were next on the agenda and boy did we get our share!

...actually none of us wanted to come home, except my boy, of course, he was content w/the trip and ready to leave...he missed his home! And boy did he cuddle in his own bed come bedtime last night! Nothing like your own bed!

Play night was simply grand!

We had some fun times geocaching with great educational opportunities for all of us:

And, on this trip, I earned by Lifeguard official WHISTLE! Thanks, DJ, auntie deserves it and I love it! Just wait for next trip, I am not only making myself seen, I will make myself heard for sure!

and cheers to RV decorations (ie, cardinals, rope lights, hummingbird feeders, and chile lights, yes!)
