A birthday tradition in our house includes waking to your room splattered with birthday balloons and streamers! Then, Daddy surprised her with a breakfast of chocolate chip cookie and a candle, while we sang to her!
ALL Morning, she was the happiest little birthday girl!
This year's birthday request was to invite her dear BFF from school! The afternoon was full of giggles, pool splashes, dress up, pedicures, manicures, hair done, and party dresses...all leading up to a special, intimate Chinese dinner!
The dinner kicked off with a bowl of homemade Chinese eggdrop soup! It was then followed by lo mein noodles, pork-fried rice, mushroom chicken, and fortune cookies, of course! Her final meal choice was a homemade, double chocolate "number 7" cake (just like her brother had for his 7th birthday), filled with a chocolate frosting filling and frosted with a creamy PINK cream cheese frosting!
Her dinner guests included her BFF's family, Poppy, Gram Mijo, Auntie, Uncles, and us!
Make a wish...
She received some very special gifts that she truly appreciated. She was a blessed little girl! Besides the pink outdoor table set and pink cap gun she got from her cousins 2 days before, she received some really COOL outfits from Grandma, a new pink ladybug trinket box from Grandma, a pink camping chair from Poppy, a new DS game and pink DS case, camping barbie, hair-do barbie, girl legos, an amazing Chinese porcelain doll, $10, a sundress, heart/cross earrings and a Mary/Martha book!
The evening ended with plenty of hugs.
Happy Birthday My Sweet Baby girl...we love you so much. We hope your birthday memories were special and that you truly enjoyed your 7th Birthday Celebration.
P.S. Before going to bed, she shared w/us what she wants to do for next year's birthday! She's already planning literally a WHOLE year before!
