A Toast 2 Camping in Cuba! (Part I)

A "toast" of Coca-Cola, of course!

4 days and 3 nights of camping! And, that still wasn't enough for my baby girl. She was finally able to use her bug box! Within our 1st 1/2 hour there, she caught her 1st butterfly. Before we knew it she had 3 very large and very beautiful butterfies. Bad news (at first) she dropped the box, the trio flew away, but that didn't stop her from her next butterfly hunt!

Daddy got a new gas grill for Father's Day and Uncle E-Ron had the pleasure of assisting with the assembly!

He was so happy cooking on the new grill that he even posed with his cooking utensils!

There's nothing like fresh, homemade carne adovada on the wok! Yup, I made it and it was a hit! Fresh pork roast, cubed and maranated in homemade, blended RED chile!
Fresh, warm tortillas for the carne (dogs-n-pasta salad were for the kids who didn't quite care for chile!)

We had a few too many happy mouths this trip! Pink sherbet, roasted corn on the cob, grilled chicken, grilled asparagus, burgers...and the list goes on! Geeze, no shy family members...very willing to pose w/their mouths open!

Couldn't keep these cousins separated!

My baby girl picked this JUST FOR HER MAMA! Thanks my baby girl!

Boggle, Scrabble, Clue, Guess Who and Ladder Ball: All games hits for this trip! The picture below shows the intense game of Scrabble...Daddy said he really should have won! The other is the Guess Who game - this game never ended and my sweet boy proved to be the Guess Who campion! There was also Clue where my boy beat the ENTIRE family...pretty sure it was Peacock in the Living Room with a poison? Ladder Ball - can't forget the bracket we played with 4 teams! This is what happens when you play with soccer nuts! You play championship bracket stuff...all I know is that my team came in 2nd place! Nevermind the GRIEF I got for tossing the balls into the pine tree, they say over 20 feet? Hey, it gave the tournament some action!

Daddy got up every morning at 6 and did the hike to Gregorio Lake. Here are some pictures he took:
