Come Follow Our Blessings...: 29 feels so good!

My birthday really kicked off Saturday when my baby sister (in her late 30's) showered me with special gifts and a homemade tiramisu dessert! Oh my...all mine! Then, my parents visited Sunday with very special gifts and a homemade millionaire pie! I have trained those two women well, I must say when it comes to their baking abilities!

I woke to a special group of people this morning. My dear "boyfriend" took today off just to be with me and made sure mama had a fresh cup of coffee as GMA started! Before I knew it my baby girl was in my arms kissing and hugging and saying how excited she was the I was able to "have coffee with my boyfriend on my birthday!" Within seconds I have a 3rd body in my arms kissing me! He sneaks out after wispering with the other two, and I am presented with a beautiful bouquet of flowers!

I received some very special birthday cards/treats in the mail that always has a way to brighten the day. Then, thanks to modern times, I also got some sweet emails and text messages! My godsons each chose to use the old-fashion way of actually picking up the phone and using their voices...those calls are always special. I heard from each of my nephews and also my sweet "nieces" from Denver...family! The family singing I'm usually showered with always means so much...U all know who you are! Kuddos to UR singing abilities.

My girlfriends made sure to add to the day...J treated me to an early morning cup of coffee and a freshly baked maple donut, brought right to my door, along with a special gift and the card I couldn't help post below! M spoiled me again w/her marvelous cupcakes, this year red velvet with cream cheese peppermint frosting! As I drive up from lunch with my hubby, my dear Liz greets me with a plate full of chocolate dipped strawberries (a variety of toppings too!). Can't forget my 2 girlfriends (and once again, you know who you are) giving me grief on my age. One, making sure I regret admitting I'm 29...apparently they want to test the age come PE time this Friday! Darn! B made sure I got my annual Starbuck card...woo hoo!

My "Birthday Boy" even brought me a special gift. I got a miniature rose bush from my DJ who turned 1 year old today! Along with my red rose bush, I got a birthday card that he signed with his precious little handprint...from what I understand, it was all his idea. Happy Birthday My Birthday Boy, so glad we share this special day!

Oh, and then my hubby took me to a very romantic and special lunch at St. Clair's...amazing meal! Had to take a picture...we think this could be FB worthy? What a perfect lunch and date!

My evening ended just the perfect way...the way it started today...with 3 of my most favorite people in the entire world! Daddy and my baby girl baked me a cake, I was showered with very special presents! They also treated me to a dinner of Blakes Lotaburger, now that's a way to a mama's heart! I'm always sad when my birthday ends, but this year I'm not...I am beyond blessed and showered with love, sometimes we forget that every day is a birthday!
