She Wanted a Party!

My baby girl has been begging for a party the last few months.  "When can we have the family over?" "Why can't we have a party?" "Uncle has Christmas."  "Auntie has Easter?" "Grandma has Thanksgiving." "What holiday can we get?"

Finally...

Her team made it to the Super Bowl...the perfect excuse to have a "small" party.

Her homemade fried chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and cream gravy turned into quite a feast! The add-ons included: warm artichoke dip, nachos, dips, guacamole, a variety of chips, french bread with olive oil, blueberry/pecan salad, maple-glazed brussel sprouts, root beer floats, mini cheesecakes and a HUGE chocolate chip cookie, of course!

During the game this happy girl bounced from family member to family member...she just couldn't get enough of everyone and the pictures are proof! She's a nut, sometimes!

Then, there was Half Time Entertainment!!!

These two appear to be wiped from the "Entertainment" of half time!

We really are a BIG time gambling family!
 "Buy a Score for a $1!"
Ten Scores, Ten Dollars!
The Big Winner with a total score of 5 WON!
Hip Hip Hooray for my Boy!

Could this be FB worthy?

At the very end of the night, after everyone was gone and dad & I were cleaning up the kitchen, my baby girl walks in and gives me a humongous hug and says,
"Mom, you're the best!"

It was worth throwing a party per her request...even tho' she still tried to get me to sleep w/her last night...you little stink bug (I know you'll read this!).
