Today, we had the chance to visit the 15 month old baby rhino at the zoo...he made his official debut Saturday! Today there was a 2-hr window within which to see him and we made it with 10 minutes left! He was cute...was the 1st rhino we had ever seen!
On our way...these 3 boys are so spoiled with all the giggles, hugs and love they get from the baby girl!
Hippo Exhibit is ALWAYS a must!
Finally...we saw baby Chopper!
The elephant feeding exhibit
was a HIT for the gang
(and rice crispy feeding too)!
Then, there was lunch time! Kids are patiently waiting for Daddy and UC to bring in the ice-chest and bags of goodies...that was one yummy lunch! We had a nice spread of turkey, white cheese, swiss cheese, mayo, green chile, sour cream and onion chips (sorry DJ), mozarella cheese sticks, butter-n-jelly sandwiches for our DJ, oranges, apples, bananas, water flavorings, capri suns, three muskateers and Ande's mints...we were set!

(waving photo was text photo we sent to Gram Mijo, now that she's a texting Queen!)
The zoo ended with a penny race!
(All proceeds benefit Run for the Zoo.)
Thanks AAA for the traditional ice-cream pitstop treat at "Sonics."
As always we are left with some funny ice-cream memory.
This time UC provided the memory...
...how can we EVER forget that one!
Wait, if I remember correctly there were 3 boys involved.
Hmm, that was one delicious dreamsicle shake!
Or was it vanilla shake?
Gotta love the memories!
