On Day 3, girls had a little difficult time waking up. However, it didn't stop them from gathering breakfast items and heading to another family room to eat breakfast in bed and watch cartoons while the rest of the families got dressed and ready. The hardest part of the day started with our little baby quickly commenting that "today was the last day," "I don't want it to end." and on and on...
But we moved forward and planned a day full of events. We kicked the a.m. with a group meeting in the mini hotel lobby where no one really cared what we did, as long as were together, right? It was agreed we would start the day off at a park we heard about on Canyon Road! So, monkey bars and catch were on the agenda; again, more time for the parents to visit and talk while waiting on park picnic table! We continue to learn so much about one another and so many memories resurface from the 7 years that have passed, so conversation is always continuous!

Then, of course, there's my sweet boy:
Lunch??
12 starving reunion-goers...on a mission to find the perfect Chinese restaurant. It was voted and Chows Bistro it was. Very small dining area, yet perfect for our group. Once again we experienced an intimate lunch. The funniest part is that you would think after all these years we would have figured out how to order for such a large group...where's Uncle Morgan when you need him? However, compliments to the parents who took charge and make executive decisions about ordering entrees....it was the perfect selection and perfect amount. What a yummy lunch it was! Sesame chicken and the fire rice seemed to be all time favorites!

Bowling anyone?
The cool part about our group is that everyone is relaxed and easy going. So, we find out we may have a 45 minute wait before two lanes open to accommodate our large group of 12...no biggie, right?
We find the cheesy arcade that has the bare minimum of machines and have a blast. Turns out there was something for everyone.
S and I didn't play anything but had to capture a pic of the carpet; we loved it!
Good Ol' Pac Man!
The Speedster! Slow Down!
Air Hockey is a Must!
Like I said, something for everyone!
This is for my "S!"
Let the games begin!
Team 1 made up of smaller people giggled and laughed and enjoyed their bumper rails!
Team 2 included fierce competition!
We had 2 on my team that just wouldn't let up with their show off strikes (No Names Mentioned)! What fun. We paid for a full hour of unlimited bowling and while the little team made it through 1 and almost a half of a game, Team 2 must have moved a wee bit slower cuz we only got through one game and maybe one more throw for each during 2nd round?
Either way, tons of fun!
Go J and C!
Kids just couldn't get enough swim time in. So, back to the pool to veg out and start planning dinner! Guess parents had one thing on their mind...more NM cuisine! So, we decided we would introduce the out of state guests to Blake's Lotaburger. Good food choice, just a really bad environment; probably worst I've seen in NM, but that didn't stop us from enjoying the food, company and making the best of it. ML got his green chile cheese burger and girls had plenty of leftover Blakes' yummy French fries! And, my boy got his chocolate milkshake!
Ready, Set, Jump, Splash!
The girls provided evening entertainment! The little ones were surprised when S jumped in with her clothes on, just to catch them off guard and surprise them. She was in for a treat cuz the girls were not letting her out of their sight! Boys conducted a game of "Sharks and Minnows" and that was fun to watch.
The evening closed with showers for the girls and cozy jammies. While they gathered in our room with wet hair and giggles, they did everything in their power to make the night last longer. At one point, they are calling room to room asking the absent parents if they could stay a little longer.
- First call when something like this, "Dad, can I stay until 10:35?"
- 2nd call, "Mom, can I stay until 10:45?"
- Another call, "Dad, they said we would stay in their room until 11:00?"
Unfortunately, the night did end and warm hugs and one last tight embrace closed the night as they each walked one another back to their rooms, giggling, of course!
When our little baby girl came back to the room, she was very sad...but waiting for her, ready to comfort her with a tight hug was her brother. She commented, "It's good to have my brother back."
...and she gently drifted asleep
