If you've ever had an opportunity to be a Spelling Bee, you'll never forget the word that took you out of the Bee! We were thrilled to learn that our son made the Spelling Bee, representing 1 out of 5 from his classroom. On Nov. 15th, it was time to compete at the school level! A 6th grader from the school is our School's champ, but our boy did an amazing job!
We're thrilled that he "decided" to attempt the classroom round and made it to the school round! That's an accomplisment!
He's pretty certain he spelled decide with an "s!" He had comfort knowing that mom missed "enterprise" at her school round and replaced the "s" with a "z!"
