"Padme"

...from Star Wars, Episode I! Padme (aka Queen Amidala) wore a number of amazing costumes in the movie. However, my little Padme wanted THIS outfit...wasn't sure how I would pull it off, but we did and she LOVED it...like brother Anakin, she was in full character (note, no smile for the camera, just like Padme). She took the role quite seriously.







I even had a "still shot" from the movie that instructed me how to do the hair! I kid you not, the kids literally had a still shot for me to work off of and we DID it. A braid on the top 1/3 of her head that wrapped from ear-to-ear. Then, we had this braided bun on the middle portion of her head (backside) and then we had seven tiny braids that branched out of the remaining hair that dangled from the back! Oh, what a mama does!
