Day 2 in Santa Fe (Continued)

We returned to camp to find a nap waiting for us (me and Daddy, that is)! After nappies Daddy grilled some awesome burgers that went quite well with Doritos, nachos and homemade pasta salad!

After our late lunch/early dinner, we headed to the next stop of the day. We toured Old Town Santa Plaza! Not only did we see amazing structures, artwork, and shops, but we also got to tour the Palace of the Governors and NM History Museums!

It was fun for the kids to recognize artifacts and articles they remembered studying this year for NM History.

The Cathedral Basilica in Santa Fe:

At the cathedral, there's this really cool labyrinth the kids succeeded in getting through!

Two of my FAVORITE exhibits at the NM History Museum:
This was so peaceful and serene!

If you look closely, you'll see profiles of faces!

These 2 lead the parade for NM 100th centennial celebration!

The day ended with 2 wiped out kids and 2 exhausted adults! My evening ended with Daddy making me a fresh pot of coffee, the perfect way to relax under the covers with a good book! My littlest boy was so tired he konked out in our bed, so the boys got to have their own slumber party, while the girls slept in the full bed together. My baby was so tired she didn't even KICK Me! And dadddy was so tired, the complaints we received was that he SNORED all night??
