We stayed at this lovely little RV Park called Rancheros de Santa Fe Campground, complete with full hookups, drive-thru spots, a pool, a playground and a darling little movie house!
This was the first time we got to use our "chile lights" that we got for our 25th wedding anniversary! Here we are getting them properly installed on the awning!
After a cool swim in the "unheated" pool, Daddy took us for an oldy but goody dinner date at Furr's Cafeteria! As kids and a good portion of our adulthood, we always ate there! My boy got to eat there as a young baby/toddler, but right about the time our daughter arrived the Furr's in ABQ changed from caferia style to "buffet style!" The one in Santa Fe is as authentic as they come! Except...they don't come around w/the drink carts asking if we want drink refills. My kids LOVED it...they thought it was the best thing!
When we returned the movie of the evening was We Bought a Zoo - what a great place to enjoy a family movie!
Chile lights are up and ready!
"Tah Dah!" All lit up at night-time!
A group pose in front of Furr's Cafeteria!
She was too full to finish her dinner, but not too full for her STRAWBERRY Pie!
This trip kids opted against staying in bunks beds...my boy slept on the table and my baby girl pulled out the full size bed!
We had the chance to watch movies 2 of the 3 nights we stayed there!
We all slept cozy! And that was good cuz Daddy had the next day fully packed with activities!
