She says the cutest things sometimes

My baby tells her big brother as we are getting lunch ready, after a LONG morning of cleaning!

"I'm starving so bad, I don't even have a flavor in my mouth." 

Then...last night I get this text from Daddy, while I'm counseling at Care Net that reads (a quote from our baby):

"Why don't you spread the butter like my mom does?

So, I ask her when I get home, why she told Daddy that and she says, "because he spreads it all bumpy." 

Daddy informed me that not only can he NOT spread the butter right, he doesn't know how to cut it in pieces either so she can scoop up her chicken-n-rice!


Then, last Wednesday, I got this text quote (from Daddy):

"Don't put the meat in the microwave because the meat will melt."

a little background info on the above: before I left for CareNet that evening, I told the kids that when Dad got ready to warm the already cooked taco meat to make sure he didn't warm in the tupperware it was in because the tupperware could melt and to instruct Daddy to put in a glass bowl.
