134 cups frozen, and counting!

My family got a taste of what it means to harvest the fruit, like the old'n days! While our tree is busting at the seams, the boys picked, we all peeled, pitted, washed, sliced, and bagged to freeze! We had a fun discussion while on the back porch peeling about how it might have been back in the old days when our grandma's and great grandma use to jar veggies and fruits and why they did it!

Makes one truly appreciate our modern conveniences, but at the same time, gives you an awesome appreciation for the hard work that goes into reaping the blessings of an over abundance of fruit we got from our tree!

Plus, not only have we already baked THREE wonderful cobbler recipes, we'll be able to have peach pies, cakes, tarts, cobblers, and smoothies ALL winter long!
