April Winds at White Sands, NM

Last family trip to White Sands was late fall, a great time to visit.  April was just as great a time to visit!  The winds were light and sun not too penetrating as would be in the hot summer months.  The weather was ideal.  We were blessed by an elderly couple who gave us their sled, so we were able to experience the full fun of sliding down dunes!

There's never enough time for the kids to play, and I must admit, I didn't want to leave either.  We are already planning for another trip where we can stay the ENTIRE day and maybe plan a fun picnic and caravan with friends!
