My Pappa Visit

He's 19, almost 20 and yet it feels like only yesterday I held
my precious godson in my arms as a brand, new baby.
What a treat to visit him at college and
discover what a responsible young man he's become!

She got to pretend drive the BIG fire truck!

He got to present play with the fire hose nozzle!

And he got to test out the weight of ALL the equipment!
It's cool when you have connections!
You get to climb the fire truck!

Yep, kids learned about the "jaws of life!"

#348 is her big cousin's locker!

When they opened #348 this is what they discovered!
It's part of his 60 lbs of gear their firefighting cousins wears!

The FIRST to try it on!

Ya think he would miss an opportunity to try on?

This lucky boy got to put on the ENTIRE gear!
What a cool memory for him.
If brother can wear, so can she!

Check out the new vehicle!

Drive the fire truck, DRIVE the new truck!
Dinner at Andeles in Mesilla Valley!

This is how she travels when Her Pappa is
around!  How long will he physically
be able to do this, I wonder?

Kids got to check out Gutrie Hall, where MOST of his business classes are!

Within Guthrie Hall mall area the kids
were immediately attracted to this sculpture.
MORE SCULPTURES & sites on campus!

Tranquility at the flag pole

What? On Campus?  That's so awesome.
What a great visit.  My kids are so luck to have a fireman in the family!  It's a privilege to get a private tour of all equipment and trucks, what a great learning experience for them.  I just enjoyed seeing my nephew entering a new phase in his life and taking on a great job of responsibility.  So proud of him for all his accomplishments.  Our dinner was fun and drive around Las Cruces Organ area was quite interesting...amazing to see the growth in Cruces!

Love you My Pappa!  Thanks for a great couple of days!
