Despite my baby turning a teenager, he'll always be my baby boy! Like all his other birthdays, he loves them and loves celebrating for days! This year his birthday weekend kicked off with his good friend coming over for a sleepover. Since becoming a "teenager" the cool thing was to sleep in the RV and NOT IN THE HOUSE!

| Friend arrived, let the Wii games BEGIN! |
Friday night started with playing as much Skylanders as two boys possibly could! Our teenager was told he could have anything he wanted for dinner and we would get take-out from his choice restaurant. His choice was mom's homemade spaghetti and root beer floats! Oh, and plenty of Doritos to snack on! His cousins also surprised him with a dinner visit. The kids played baseball outside in the dark, crisp air.

| Spaghetti and fresh buttered garlic toast anyone? |
| Baseball game against the cousins and baby sister! |
| Yep, time to sing Happy Birthday and enjoy Birthday FLOATS! |
Saturday morning kicked off after the sleepy heads trotted inside the house, MID MORNING! My teenager picked biscuits and sausage gravy for breakfast. Perfect for hungry boys!
| Biscuits and gravy and Saturday morning cartoons! |
After hours of more Skylander, uninterrupted Wii playtime, it was time to head off to church.
On Saturday before bed, we made sure to hug all the 12 we could before he went to bed. Very sad for the mama...but I got a special 12 yr old hug that I'll always hold close to my heart. The 3 of us were also instructed that he didn't want the birthday fairy to splash his room...hinting that he knew it was the 3 of us and had had to close his eyes the year before and pretend not to hear us! tee hee...really? You think we care? Heck not....room was splashed, conservatively and he got a special birthday banner in the family room.

Birthday Day was a blast! He opened gifts and was the happiest boy in the world.
| "Can I open now?" |
| Let the opening begin! |
| What? |
| Legos! |
| Lego's again! |
| He hugs and thanks his baby sister for all her Lego gifts she gave him! |
Before drama we had birthday lunch at his FAVORITE restaurant...yes, Olive Garden. He really appreciated and enjoyed the servers singing to him and bringing him a special mini dessert! He had a mandatory drama meeting on his b-day where the director would be meeting and casting for the summer VBS. Our teenager walked away as the lead Toucan Sam in our church' VBS...HUGE! Not sure who was more excited, him or us! Yeah!
| Mozzarella Cheese Sticks - perfect b-day Appetizer! |

| Birthday Zuppa...the BEST day ever! |

| So happy when the servers sang to him! |

Pit stop while in ABQ...gift card and b-day cash burning a hole in his b-day pocket!

| Gotta buy just one more LEGO set! The big one he's been wanting!!! |
After drama we headed home to be greeted by the remaining family, where we had chile dogs (per his request) and more root beer floats!

| And More LEGOS!! Can a boy ever have enough Legos? |
| Always fun having family around to celebrate with! |
