Our kids wanted to participate in the spring HIS Choir, after a successful Winter choir experience and praisentation!
But, here's the exciting part...they also wanted to tryout for a part in the play. Both had to experience a 1 1/2 hr formal tryout process where they had to select one of 2 (or both) auditions: singing or speaking. They both wanted to try out for BOTH, so they had to sing one of 2 songs and speak one of 2 parts. Apparently, they both got called on stage in the same group, which was a comfort for them and they selected the same song and same script!
We had to wait 4 days for the official email...the email came early Monday morning with the subject line that read: Choir Cast List
Here's what they were cast for:
Our son: Dancer/I've Got the Joy & Dancer/Jesus is the Rock
Our baby girl: Ensemble/Sweet Sweet Love
and their besties were cast for:
CH: Kid 2 & Rapper/Bible in a Minute
KH: Soloist/Jesus is the Rock & Dancer/We Wanna See Jesus Lifted High
