After school, the kids quickly found a box of chocolates and a bottle of sparkling Martinelli apple cider (that we'll get to enjoy for dinner) waiting for them...BIG smiles! Oh, and shhhh, I'm also going to surprise them with strawberries for dessert!
They are getting a homemade chicken-fried steak dinner with mashed potatoes, cream gravy and buttered corn!
It was so much fun watching them open each little Valentine they received from their friends - those are those childhood memories that stay with you a lifetime!

Love the Valentine photos - the kids have gotten so big. What a wonderful family you have.
Mahalo to AJ for the tips on the Hawaiian language - it is definitely a challenge with so few letters in the alphabet. We are looking for a book so we can learn more. I am still trying to pronounce the state fish: Humuhumunukunukuapua`a!
