"Mom, there's zero more days until your birthday"

My birthday greeted me at 6am with a splitting headache, and as I am about to take my wonder drug, Imitrex, I hear the pitter patter of feet and a sweet, sweet voice say, "Happy Birthday Mom." She wants to know if I want to open presents but I share w/her that mommy has a headache and since it's still dark, mamma needs a little more rest. So, I'm invited to join her in her bed, which was pure and instant relief for my head!

She caressed my head, rubbed by back and before I know I'm fast sleep, only to be woken by, "Mom, do you want to open presents yet?" I ask for 5 more minutes...and before I know it, I hear, "Mom, it's been 5 minutes, do you want to open presents?" My little girl has an alarm clock in her room, so I'm sure it was 5 minutes...I kindly ask for a few more minutes, only to be awoke now, by BOTH, asking if I'm ready to open presents!

It was surreal to have my 2 sweet babies get so excited over my birthday...as I'm about to finally open my presents (after they made me guess each one before Daddy got up to help), my precious baby girls announces...

"Mom, there's zero more days until your birthday!"

I absolutely loved the birthday card they made me this year! You guys are the best! I love you both very much and you know it!

P.S. Thanks pumpkin for making me my 1st cup of coffee on my birthday morning - it was the best tasting cup of coffee I've ever had! Can you do it again tomorrow?
