Valedictorian

Our Godson was 1 of 5 Valedictorians for high school graduation 2012!

                                       (ugh, obviously the person who typed the program didn't use spell check!)

The cousins, his little brother and big brother (drinking capri sun) patiently waited for the ceremony to begin. Keep in mind family arrived as early as 4:30 to save seats for the 7:00 ceremony...so snacks came in handy to keep kids entertained (even the big kids!).

We can't find our special graduate so his cousins & brother are put on shoulders so HE can spot us...we stay in one place and wait!

Family...

Was it really just 2 years ago that Cousin Coby was Valedictorian (click here to see blog photos and his speech)...now look at him, all grown up and acting goofy!

Just can't help but HUG our Pappa!

Besides seeing him walk the line, giving his speech, accepting his diploma, pictures and hugs...another touching moment was when he gave one of his 5 tassels representing National Honor Society, Valedictorian, etc. to each of his cousin. He didn't keep one - what an honor for the kids to take this piece of his graduation with them...what a memory, what a blessing for them.

We ditched the buses and walked from high school to church parking lot...the perfect night for a casual stroll to our cars...Auntie-n-her niece were hand-in-hand! Night Night Graduation 2012.
