"All Aboard!" Day 2 started early in the morning with a bus ride to Hawaii, the Grand Canyon and Disneyland. Poppy drove, while grandma was the bus attendant, giving instructions on everything from airbags, to oxygen masks, to handing out snack!
Day 2 included a rock painting contest!
Day 2 didn't go w/o watching the family of squirrels come eat bread crumbs the kids left them.
They would come right up to the kids' feet! ughh...cute, but not that cute! They got into
uncle's homemade beef jerky poppy made him...we weren't too happy w/the rodents!
Day 2 had a game or two of ladder golf!
Day 2 made sure to include a nap for Poppy!
Day 2 included "who did it? in what room? with what weapon? -- the mystery CLUE game...yes, our little cheater won! (hint: Mr. Italia)
Day 2 had plenty of hugs...
...and also a delicious chicken and beef fajita dinner w/all the works! The works included a variety of colors of peppers, purple and white onions, spanish rice, cheddar cheese, sour cream, guacamole, salsa, refried beans topped with cheddar cheese, and FRONTIER tortillas. A feast fit for a King and Queen!
Day 2 evening campfire was hosted by the cousins and included roasted marshmallows! We even got to see Uncle-n-Friend Shane cook Jiffy Pop over a very HOT campfire! Very entertaining to say the least - "Do not try at home, kids!" My kids closed the night with the recent HIS Choir music selections and sang for all of us!
Two nights down my baby girl...one more to go.
