Picnic Time Memories

Our picnics were fun and loaded with memories! Daddy spoiled the heck out of us. We didn't have to worry about a thing! He packed everything...well almost everything (2nd picnic day is the memory!).

Since first day was such a success, he decided to grant a few more requests. I wanted lettuce and tomato for my turkey-n-cheese sandwich. Baby girl's request was mayonnaise for her turkey sandwich. As we get ready to picnic on the bed of the truck, Daddy calmly announces that he brought everything BUT the turkey! Needless to say, baby girl had a cheese/mayo sandwich. Thank God the boy's request was PB&J...or else I would have had to eat a cheese/lettuce sandwich. Ya gotta love the daddy!

Day 3 was fun too...we attempted making sandwiches in the truck as we made our way from the Grand Canyon to Bedrock to see Fred and Wilma... a bit tight, but we did it and enjoyed every bite!

P.S. Daddy wasn't only one who "forgot" that day...mama left the RV and forgot to take off her house slippers...5 min. into trip I realized...had to turn back! Not sure house slippers would work for hiking! I'm a ditz alright!
