Pitstops on the Way Home from AZ 2 NM

Now, this would be a fun place to spend the night in Holbrook...felt like we were in the Cars movie (click here to learn more about Wigwam Village)!

The Holbrook Visitor Center and Museum was really an unexpected surprise! We went in looking for an AZ flag, but walked back in time to Holbrook's wild and colorful past! The Visitor Center and Museum are located in the Navajo County Historic Courthouse, built in 1898. Inside, one not only gets tourist info., but has the chance to walk through the old jail, court room and court chambers, libraries, classrooms, old artifacts, the means of printing used back in the day, old mailboxes, covered wagons, and on and on...

Last stop - Desert Painted Gift Shop, where this caught Daddy's attention! He now wants to make one for the back yard? Kids loved the teepees!

The End

Shucks...why do vacations have to have an ending?
