So, the last few years have been painful as we put up our ancient tree of close to 15 yrs old! Branches would break...and we would manually put in EACH branch...which would take a good while.
Daddy convinced us that it was time to break down and buy a new tree. His only request was that he wanted a TALLER tree since we have the room for it. So, we did. Thank God we have a tall Daddy and a step ladder cuz the kids and I would NEVER be able to reach the top portion!
Kids really enjoyed themselves this year more than EVER! We had fun taking out each ornament and noting the year we got and the memory that traveled with some ornaments. This year the kids selected unique ornaments. My boy picked a baby grand piano and my baby girl a PINK disco ball and world globe ball!
Kids managed to set up the ENTIRE manger w/o our help! They did an awesome job.
Oh, and our sweet Abby girl got dressed up for the festivies of decorating our new tree - doesn't she look cute?
